Mr. Nirvaan Birla : Managing Director

Nirvaan Birla is all set to grow Birla openminds as the Managing Director. His belief of being positive, humble and his enthusiasm to do something different will push everyone at Birla openminds to go that extra mile and fulfil commitments.

Nirvaan has completed his Masters in Management from University of Westminster, London and graduated from Mumbai University where he studied Bachelor of Commerce (Management Studies) and scored a
(Grade A).

Nirvaan augmented his experience by interning in various companies. At Birla Wellness, he was a business outreach intern and at Shloka- A Birla School, he helped them to grow franchise in over 5 states in India. At Newby Teas UK he worked in the Sales and Marketing team where he was successful in converting renowned banks and hotels into clients. To further gain experience in Commodities, Currency trading and wealth management he interned with Saspien Capital Limited and MotilalOswal Financial Services Ltd.

Mr.Yatharth Gautam : Director & COO

Having completed his graduation in BA (Hons) International Business from Regents Business School, London & his MBA in International Marketing from EU Business School, Barcelona;  Mr. Yatharth Gautam brings over a decade of diverse international experience onboard having worked and resided in London and Barcelona respectively. He has worked for top global MNC’s in industries catering to Steel and services at senior positions. His global perspective coupled with his extensive on ground knowledge, leadership and execution skills; has helped chart strategic inroads for Birla Open Minds as a brand and is also instrumental for the brands Pan-India expansion. 

A firm believer in the motto of Dictum meum pactum, he adheres to the principle of performing what he says he will do. Under his current role and leadership, serving as the Director & COO,  Birla Open Minds has achieved a growth rate of over 80 percent year on year within India with a network of over 120 schools including over 60 K12’s and 60 Preschools in line with the brands motto of Nurturing India’s Tomorrow!

Dr. Puspita Chattopadhyay : President - Academics and Skill Devlopment

A dedicated, resourceful and goal-driven professional educator with a solid commitment to the social and academic growth and development of every child, Dr Pushpita Chattopadhyay is an academician par excellence.

PhD, M.Sc., MA in Education, B.Ed, PG-Diploma in Instructional Designing, PG Diploma in Education Management, Cambridge Certification programme, A- Level and Higher Diploma in Computer science are few of the laurels in her crown.

She staunchly believes in implementing creative, innovative, blended learning techniques & applications to empower teachers towards improvement of learning abilities of 21st century learners. Her fundamental thought in conceptualizing, designing innovative and effective curriculum is to empower students to be lifelong learners.

Dr Pushpita has 24 Years of experience in teaching, counselling, remedial teaching, teacher training, curriculum mapping, academic publishing, academic curriculum designing & development, school administration and skill training. She has written and edited textbooks for Mathematics, Science and Quantitative reasoning for various publishers.

With the wellbeing of each child as her focal motto, Dr Pushpita researched and effectively completed her Ph.D. in 'Childhood stress, coping with stress and academic burden'.

Her transformative social responsibilities extend from being the resource person for the international school project of Government of Maharashtra to being a panellist for recruitment of teachers and principals for BMC schools of Maharashtra.

Under her leadership, Birla Edutech/Birla Open Minds has been conducting Vocational Skill training in collaboration with Government and various NGOs for more than 20,000 students and thereby providing placement too.

To top it all, she has received Nation builder's Award from Rotary club in 2018. She has received international women's achiever award and super women's award in 2021.

Dr Pushpita is a true achiever who has been a torch bearer of the futuristic education and thereby a true nation builder.

Ms.Priti Ambekar: Head - Preschool & ECCED

Passionate about education and compassionate about children, Priti Ambekar has spent over 20 years of her life working on the holistic development of children's early needs. Her philosophy that education and learning should be inclusive has led her to design and execute the programme “Early Intervention for Children” in Ort India, http://www.ortindia.org/ and also have her own Learning Centre, “MY MIND MAPS”.

Her academic background is rich, diverse and well-augmented. She holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education from Ort India, affiliated with Cambridge University. She even holds a Diploma in learning disability from AVM. She has also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Management of Education from Mumbai University. She studied the Robert Karkhuff model of Counselling for self-help as a certification program, and REBT as a therapy for children. To her credit, she also has a Master of Arts in Education and is a certified Mind Map trainer.

Amongst her many achievements, she has designed a model for teacher training based on school management and effective teaching-learning classroom strategies. Priti has made significant contributions in the role of a teacher, teacher educator and Centre head. As a Principal, she helmed Ort India teachers training college, Podar Jumbo kids and The Little Company. She has been a friend, mentor and coach to all the trainee teachers. Her passion lies in creating teachers who are compassionate and all-inclusive in their approach to teaching.

Over the years, Priti Ambekar has been conducting workshops in various educational institutions on School Management, Teaching Methodologies and Mind mapping, an effective tool for teachers and students. Her expertise lies in developing curriculum and setting up preschools that are instrumental in developing a child's foundation years. Her core belief is that every child is different, and as a teacher, you need to love every aspect of the child to be able to develop and enhance learning skills to stimulate growth. She strongly believes this responsible work needs sensitive and empathetic hands, and she has been very successful in achieving this misson.

Gaurav Dadhich : General Manager - Sales & Marketing

Gaurav Dadhich, a marketing specialist, has earned an MBA degree from the renowned Balaji Institute of Management & HRD college in Pune, Maharashtra. He was awarded with Emerging Marketer of the Year 2021 by ASMA. His firm belief in discipline, dedication and determination has helped him grow professionally with the Yash Birla Group where he has had substantial experience of more than eight years, and continues steadfastly to serve the group. Having worked with diverse sectors within the group, viz., Consumer durables, healthcare and wellness, and education, Dadhich has honed his professional skills—particularly in branding, relationship management, sales and marketing, channel management and franchise acquisition. Currently with Birla Edutech, as General Manager-Sales & Marketing, he takes charge of franchise expansion (pan India) while assisting our network of schools in all matters concerning branding and marketing.

Vijay Anand : Zonal Head - East & Central India

Vijay Anand, a marketing and sales specialist, has earned an MBA degree from the Lalit Narayan Mithila University in Darbhanga, Bihar. With a substantial work experience of 17 years, Anand has invested seven of these in franchise acquisition and management. He has also worked in diverse segments such as customer support, branding, event management, relationship management, and sales and marketing. Anand has had successful stints with Airtel, Centre for Readership Development, Kidzee and Little Millennium. Currently with Birla Edutech, as Zonal Head - East & Central India, Anand takes charge of franchise expansion in the East & Central Zone, while assisting our network of schools in all matters concerning branding and marketing. Armed with extensive product knowledge and a sound understanding of customer service, sales, marketing and operational goals, Anand is now set to take franchise acquisition to new heights in the East & Central Zone.

Siddharth Gaur : Regional Franchise Manager - North India

Siddharth Gaur, working as Regional Franchise Manager for the North Zone. He has earned a Masters from Manav Bharti University, Solan-Himachal Pradesh. With an extensive experience of over thirteen years in franchising and business expansion, Gaur has developed impressive inter-personal and collaborative skills. He has worked with other educational giants having been instrumental in implementing ERP business processes which have successfully increased profits. Gaur looks forward to providing excellent planning and implementation of marketing processes for all operational schools in the North Zone.

Ravi Shivdasani : Regional Franchise Manager - West Zone

Ravi Shivdasani, working as Regional Franchise Manager for the West Zone has earned MBA in Sales & Marketing & Human Resource Management from Mumbai with Experience of over 20 years out of which 7 years in Franchise Acquisition worked with renowned brands in Education assisting in Sale & Marketing. Ravi Has taken Charge of Franchise acquisition to new heights in West Zone.

Ravi Ranjan : School Operations Manager - East India

Ravi Ranjan, an Operations Specialist, has earned a postgraduate degree in Human resource and Marketing Management in Business Management from the Centre for Management Development , Ghaziabad, UP. Navneet Singh : School Operations Manager - North India

A seasoned professional with 16+ years in the educational services sector, Mr. Navneet Singh is currently serving as SOM (School Operations Manager) with Birla Open Minds. He ensures the smooth functioning of Birla Open Minds Schools across the north region. During his professional journey, he has been associated with a number of leading institutions where he handled a variety of tasks like administration, operations, sales, marketing, customer relationships, business promotion and development. He has been associated with MIT Pune’s World Peace School (Vishwashanti Gurukul) as an Administration Officer, where he worked on the completion of vital projects. His expansive skill set also includes facility management, team building, supervision, relationship management, communication, negotiation, multi-tasking, and exceptional analytical and problem-solving ability. Mr Vijay Venna – School Operations Manager - South India

Presently he shoulders the responsibility of developing business in the south region for Birla Open Minds Schools. Mr Mukesh Mishra - General Manager - Operations

An ambitious and enthusiastic professional who has been achieving consistent results, Mr Mukesh Mishra holds an MBA degree from Wigan and Leigh College, Mumbai. He is a sales and operations expert with 15 years of experience working with brands like EuroKids, O2 Spa Salon, Footprints and Firstcry. He has expertise in developing franchisee networks, business launch, promotions, marketing and operations with multiple brands across India. He played a key role in developing and nurturing brands like Firstcry, Intellitots and Footprints across the region. Mr Vikram Rai - School Operations Manager – Central India

Mr Vikram Rai is an operational specialist known for driving brand growth and maximising operational excellence. He has earned a Bachelor's and Master's degree from LNUPE Gwalior. He has a total experience of 12 years in product development, operations management, brand development, team management etc. He started his journey with Birla Open Minds as a product head and is currently the Managing Director at Birla Open Minds Vapi and serves as a school operations manager for Birla Open Minds International Schools in the central zone, where he is actively involved in the management, operation, supervision and performance of our network of schools. He is committed to tracking and optimising business operations in the central zone with a vision of identifying and satisfying franchise needs. He has extensive product knowledge and a sound understanding of branding and operational goals.
