The Birla Open Minds International Schools (BOMIS), firmly reiterate and restore what Tagore called the hallmark of childhood - 'joy of learning' and 'the creative spirit'. The Trust was established in 2012 by the Chimalgi Family. It currently runs a High School and P U College. The trust's mission is to provide intellectually, socially and morally oriented citizens for the nation.
Mr. Abhishek Chimalgi : Founder and Trustee
Mr Abhishek Chimalgi, is the Founder and Trustee of Chimalgi Education and Charitable Trust. He is a young enterprising entrepreneur who has successfully established a high school and pre-university college. Basically a software engineer who realized that it is not only earning money that makes a man successful, but it is also giving back to the society.
He excelled in his professional career as a software engineer, having worked in various countries and supporting projects across the world.
He, along with his family, entered the field of education in 2012, and since then there is no looking back. At present, he administrates the high school and college with his wife Sandhya Chimalgi.
All the members of the Chimalgi family are highly educated and support the day to day activities of the school and college. Their experience has motivated them to take the educational journey a step ahead by starting a K-12 school in partnership with Birla Open Minds Education Pvt Ltd.
