Teacher's Professional Development
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” Nelson Mandela
Teacher's Professional Development is the body of systematic activities to prepare teachers for
their
job, including initial training, induction courses, in-service training and continuous professional
development within school. A professional development goal for teachers is a learning and
implementation goal they set for themselves. It is the process by which teachers acquire, develop
and
strengthen their skills and know-how to become more effective and understand the student’s
perspective. Today in BOMPSCH a workshop on ‘Design Thinking’ has been conducted by Ms. Ramya
Rajagopal (Centre Head- Nallagandlla) where the different ideas have been shared how to assess a
child
by conducting various activities in the classroom and how to improve the learning process.
